Cancellation Policy and No-Show

  • Reservations paid online are not refundable but may be used on a date later than the date of the original booking (Effective 12 months), as long as the change is made through the customer attention center 48 hours before the rental car pick-up date. Any modification dates, destination or category may generate additional costs depending on the prevailing rate at requested in the corresponding period.
  • Reservations paid online are not refundable if the customer does not show up to pick up the car (no-show).
  • Reservations paid online are not refundable if the customer does not present the requirements established in the Rental Policies and conditions.
  • Reservations paid online are not refundable for returning the car early.
  • Reservations paid at the station do not generate cancellation or no-show charges.

Rental Policies and Conditions

  • Customer must have a valid credit card when signing the contract for the guarantee deposit (10% of the value of the car; the amount of this deposit varies, depending on the insurance/coverage chosen, and the credit card will be blocked in the amount determined by the car rental company) whose issue date is more than one year. The guarantee is reimbursed when the contract expires.
  • The method of payment upon termination of the contract may be cash or credit card (American Express, VISA, MasterCard, Banamex, BBVA Bancomer, Banorte, Santander, HSBC and Scotiabank).
  • Driver's license is mandatory.
  • Official identification Valid (ID or Passport).
  • Driver's minimum age: 21 years
  • Drivers under 25 years of age will be charged an additional 10 usd per day + taxes.
  • Rate includes unlimited mileage.
  • The majority of our vehicles are equipped with power locks, energy control, tape or CD Player and radio AM/FM.
  • The photos on the website, such as the brands and classes shown, are merely for illustrative purposes. Vehicles can only be booked by category (ACRISS), unless a specific class has been confirmed to be available in the normal course of the booking; however, Europcar only guarantees the category booked. The groups and categories shown may not be available at all Europcar locations.
  • Failure to meet the car available at the time of the contract, a car of the same category will be assigned; if there is no car available of the similar category, a superior category car will be offer at no extra cost.
  • In the event of an accident, the customer will be responsible for immediately reporting the incident to the rental office or to the telephone assistance numbers and must duly sign the accident report upon termination of the rental, otherwise the coverage will be invalid and the corresponding amount resulting from the appraisal of the damage will be charged directly to the customer.
  • Should the customer not abide by the clauses of the rental contract he/she signed in the office where the car was picked up, the coverage or insurance purchased will be considered null and void.
  • The units must be returned in normal working conditions at termination of the rental.
  • All gasoline consumed and/or damages incurred will be charged additional to the rate of the rental.
